A Scandalous Affair

This party features two leads from Stratford Festival’s current production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels — Sara-Jeanne Hosie and Liam Tobin — in concert, performing repertoire from musical theatre. (Please check their bios, opposite, for the impressive lists of shows to their credit.)

Doors will open at 6:00, when guests may enjoy appetizers by Urban Grub, a selection of sparkling or still wines, and an opportunity to visit Gallery Stratford’s newest collections.

At 7:00, guests will gather in “the studio” for musical entertainment.

Throughout the event, you’ll have the option of playing the Con or Be Conned Game: Do you have the moxie to mix and mingle on the French Riviera? Can you keep your wits and your jewels about you?

Dare to wear your best scoundrel’s attire and be prepared to con … or be conned …

At the party, for a small donation to play, guests will receive an envelope with a clue indicating whether they’re a Swindler or a Mark. Someone who’s a true Con will win a spectacular loot bag.

Performers will also announce the winners of the loot bag and best Scoundrel or Heiress look.
