With over three decades of experience in accessory and bridal millinery design, Laura Patterson is a fashion design professional, and passionate theatre enthusiast. Dubbed one of the industry’s most innovative veil designers by The Knot magazine, her headpiece and accessory designs have been featured extensively in leading print and digital media—including Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, WedLuxe, and Over The Moon—as well as in film and television productions.

Throughout her career, Laura has mentored and trained many fashion students and design assistants. Her approachable, supportive teaching style breaks down professional construction techniques into clear, layerable steps—making complex wire-work accessible to beginners while giving artists the tools to bring their creative vision to life.
