Sam Claveau
Theatrical Carpentry
Sam Claveau is excited to work with Off the Wall and teach/mentor a future generation of carpenters.
In 2010, Sam attained his red seal carpentry certification from Kwantlen Polytechnic in Vancouver, Canada. He worked for 9 years in residential renovations and contracting in Vancouver before transitioning into custom design projects. During his 18 years of carpentry experience, Sam has trained and mentored multiple apprentices to achieve red seal certification.
Since relocating to Stratford, Ontario, with his wife and daughter, Sam has focused on custom millwork and is currently working with the Stratford Festival in theatrical carpentry. Recent work has included creating the scenes for Annie and Macbeth, two headlining shows for the 2025 theatre season. Sam’s passion lies in creative solutions and blending art & woodworking encompassed in theatrical carpentry.
